    Put an aquarium heater into a big water container,
    and cover the water surface with a flat styrofoam plate to keep the warmth.

    The bees will prefere warm water and ignore your neighbor's pool. ...

    As you know, it is called sucrose. The formula is C12H22O11.

    I like the idea to controll the temperature of the process.
    Adding a drop or two of glycerin will probably reduce the necessary temperature and thus make the hole vaporizing process shorter....
