With the foragers stuck under the hive unable to deposit their stores and go back out into field until they do, it can really cut down on the hives productivity.

I would take this as a clue, check on them and see if they need fed.
I pull my frames and vaporize in a spare 10 frame deep box.

Treat and then move the frames back to nuc.
I would conscript an Army of children soldiers and keep a harem of hot soccer-moms while carving out my own little kingdom.
