    Re: virus?

You should treat regardless but if you had a big robbing episode bees out front could be casualties. You have an entrance reducer on?

    Re: Exposed bee faces: brood

K-wing. I would treat again for varroa with oxalic like above poster noted.
  5. Re: Pulled Queen off of hive. What to do now?

You could also cage her and set the cage on top bars of a hive you tink may be queenless. See if the bees stick to it like velcro (balling) or walk around on it happy and can be moved off easily....

    Re: Frame saver extracting.

Floor heat is most common, pipe in cement.

    Re: tankless water heater

Im not sure if you are using in floor or forced air.

    Some things to consider.
Short term use of in floor isn't very efficient because you have to heat up a lot of mass (cement) before it starts...
  16. Re: Canadian prairie and northern US honey crop outlook

I think our crop farmers have a very good crop going. They last 2 days of rain/snow are going to put a real damper on things. I'm hoping we get some heat next week for them.

  19. Re: Canadian prairie and northern US honey crop outlook
