    They look pretty tough

    The advantage i see in them is that they dont need painting and should last a bit longer maybe....

    The way i do it is place the super on diagonally...

    The way i do it is place the super on diagonally ( or on an angle )so only about 8 little points make contact with each other then rotate the super to line it up with the rest of the hive.
