I sent you some contact info from someone I bought from last summer.
Re: Suggestions..... unassembled hive bodies for sale
For 250 check with Westernbee.com and ask Vicki for a quote on a surface freight delivery. Unless you have a business address, it is quite a bit cheaper to pick them up at the local terminal. Often there is literally a $50 ot more charge for the use of their liftgate during delivery and a charge for the actual residential delivery. If you pick it up at the terminal, it often cheap shipping. The shipping advice works from whatever pallet size shipping you need from suppliers. Budget grade boxes from Western are plenty good enough unless you view your boxes as furniture.
Re: Suggestions..... unassembled hive bodies for sale
Both Kelley and Dadant carry unassembled budget grade boxes by the pallet
Re: Suggestions..... unassembled hive bodies for sale
I use Mann-Lake but haven't bought a large number.
Where are you in Florida?
Please let me know where you find the best deal.
I'm good for this year ( broke) but would consider spliting a pallet with someone next year.
Next time I order Pierco I'm going with a pallet to save on shipping.
Re: Suggestions..... unassembled hive bodies for sale
We had a professional beekeeper at our bee school this week, and they use Shastina. They purchase 1/2 semi load at a time. He says their quality is better than Mann Lakes Select Grade Hives. I have been very happy with my Mann Lake boxes, so the Shastina's must really be nice.
Re: Suggestions..... unassembled hive bodies for sale
The dadant budget were made my Westernbee and the Kelleys may have been. WB makes a lot of woodware for suppliers and is owned by Dadant.
Re: Suggestions..... unassembled hive bodies for sale
I would second the vote on Western Bee. I buy their budget grade 500 at a time. Good price and reasonable shipping. Give Vicky a call.

Hey--Shastina's quality is very nice! They also custom cut: we needed boxes with no end hand-hold since we run a divider down the middle of the inside of the box dividing it into two small hives. Cutting the dado for the divider with an end hand-hold causes a gap. Mann-Lake was not able to provide custom boxes. Also, the general quality of the Shastina boxes and their precision in cutting the joints is impressive. They're still figuring out how to get their shipping down, and when they do, watch out Mann-Lake!
