Mann Lake Screened Bottom Boards-Discontinued?

I see on the Mann Lake website that the screened bottom boards have been discontinued so only limited quantities are available. Does anyone know if they are coming up with a new version or if they are getting rid of them altogether?

We just bought a few for the club raffle table. They call it varroa trap with drawer.

After watching you're video I see what you mean. It looks like the one they where selling a few years ago with the wooden slide board.

I think that fad is over now. Like the pet rocks. :)

have they sent out there 2013 cat. yet? I've got everyone else's but not there's.

I would have to agree with you on that one! They did not perform as well as solid bottoms for me. They do give you the ability to count mites but in my opinion the cost outways that only benefit.

I've had a different experience, only my swarm traps have solid bottom boards. Even my nucs have screened boards that are open 12 months per year.
