25 lb sugar, 1.5 gallons of water (12 lb), 8 oz corn syrup and 1 TBS of acid (lemon juice) heated to 250 F. The frames are my top bars, with 1.25 x .25 slats of pine stapled on. I laid foil under the frame and wrapped it up around the frame to prevent spillage.
