Bee travel in force

Vague title, but,

I just ran a map radius tool to see where things are "as the bees fly" and see that I am about 1.5 miles from probably 50 acres of soybeans. I hear this is a good crop for the dry spell, but can I realistically expect the bees to gather alot at that distance? I know people say 2 miles, and I have heard up to 5, but will they do it in force enough to actually build up at that distance?

I get a crop from soybeans about once every 12 years... and I'm surrounded by them...
