From Yahoo: "News crew attacked by swarm of bee during live report"

I seriously doubt the "drone" was attacked by an actual swarm (like the one in the picture). More likely it was an established AHB colony that didn't like the vibrations from the "drone".

no doubt in my mind RUSSIAN bees, got to get me some of those.

they were filming a building demolition. That says it all. The colony was probably within the walls and some guy plunged a front end loader through wall or something. I've seen this happen quite a bit.
