Ordering wax foundation in cold weather

I am considering ordering some wax foundation to have on hand this spring.

Should I worry about damage in shipping due to the wax being brittle during cold weather?

I ordered some from ML last winter. I lost a few outside sheets to breakage, but otherwise the rest of the box was fine.

Some companies won't ship wax foundation during the winter because of the excessive amount of damage during shipping. I'd wait for awhile, at least until it starts to warm up a little. Another consideration would be to use wax coated plastic foundation. I switched to plastic Pierco foundation. I'd never go back to wax foundation. So much less work with plastic foundation.
