anyone use mineral oil for mite control?

Hi all, I was just reading about someone using mineral oil (in a fogger) for mite control. Do anyone of you do this? This is the first I heard of it. Is it easy to do? Successful? If you have used this could you share your experience? Thank you in advance. Sally
