new member from WI

Just to introduce myself. I am a new member and new beek. I have had bees for 4 years-- will be five in spring. I am a hobby beek with just 5 hives (lang) right now. Hoping to make a couple splits or catch some swarms in spring to increase a few more. I may have to break down and buy some packages. We'll have to see what spring brings. I am also a treatment free beekeeper and have been since starting. The bees have been great to me, providing lots of honey for themselves and me. I am here to learn all that I can. Thank you all for being here.

Welcome Pat! We would call you a niche' pollinator in Florida.

Is that because they pollinate my garden?? And the do a good job at that too. I couldn't grow melons before the honeybees arrived.
