Trading Honey....anyone up for it?
A few years ago i got on here and traded honey with some folks and it was really fun and a good time! the only person who didnt send me any was some guy from hawaii! oh well shipping must have been expensive. Anyway if anyone is interested in doing it with me this winter let me know. I have wildflower and clover honey from illinois. I would be more than willing to send a pound to receive a pound! LET ME KNOW!!!!
Re: Trading Honey....anyone up for it?
I would really like to swap some honey. All I have is wildflower. But I think it is very tasty. Our sourwood was a bust again this year.

Re: Trading Honey....anyone up for it?
Just a tip, if you swap in bottles that are under 13 oz.total weight.that is honey. bottle and packaging I think you will find a better cost of postage per oz of honey.
I actually looked it up.
Priority mail would be $5.20 if mailed from the post office.
First class for a 13 oz. package is $3.65 (it went up by about a dollar)
13.1 oz kicks it into the $5.20 price range.
Re: Trading Honey....anyone up for it?
Keep me in mind for next fall. I do not have enough right now but think this is a great idea. Next fall I hope to have more than enough. If I do, I will likely have golden rod honey.

It might be neat to try and swap queen bees to get new bloodlines and breeds into our apriaries. I have Italian mutts but will be picking up two Russian hives come April.
