oxalic acid vaporizer for TBH, propone heated

Anyone see a problem with the following idea for an oxalic acid vaporizer for a TBH: a seven inch length of 3/4" copper pipe, capped at the lower end(held by friction) and inserted vertically into a hole in the bottom board of the hive. Acid is dropped down the tube and gently heated.

Should work ok, just don't heat the tube hotter than is needed to cause a vapor. Being able to see the vapor point is of up most importance with this method, the temperature range is very narrow.
