Honey Warmer
Made my own honey warmer with the items I had on hand. Modified a microwave cart by removing the doors and inside
shelf. I had one of those closet shelfs that I cut down to size for my shelf. A milk crate for my 5gal bucket to sit on, and a ceramic base light bulb for the heat. I purchased the dimmer switch and the radiant barrierAttachment 3218Attachment 3219Attachment 3220

Re: Honey Warmer
Looks like a good one. You can control the heat about right with a thermostatically controlled power strip from the pet shot. Mine cost $50 and goes to 104 which is high enough and won't hurt the honey.

Re: Honey Warmer
Definitely get a thermostat. Here's a great one:

$46 (free shipping) really nice unit. Patriot Supply is also a good company to deal with. Can also be used as a cell incubator.
I ruined some honey with an uncontrolled light bulb once - just not worth the gamble.

Re: Honey Warmer
So I would still use the light bulb-dimmer controlled and use this thermostat to monitor the inside temperature? Where does the thermostat get its power.
