can empty medium brood frames be used for honey frames?
I decided to go to all mediums for my second colony.
In my manipulations of frames, I was wondering if I need to keep track of honey vs. brood empty frames that I store.
Are any issues with using empty brood frames for honey super frames next summer?
The brood frames seem darker in color and was wondering if that affects honey color if I were to use it next summer in a honey super.
Thanks,
Shawn

No, you don't have to keep them separate. No, darker comb doesn't make honey darker.
One reason some beekeepers do keep honey frames separate from brood frames is that wax moths prefer brood frames.
