Hello,
I was hoping to get a queen very soon and not have to worry about shipping time and shipping charges.
Anyone local here in Polk County, FL have any queens they may want to sell?
I am in Lakeland.
Small-cell a big plus.

Harvey's honey does but youll have to ship.
I might have a few in a month but that doesn't help you now.
Yep, I called Miksa last week. They are out, as Mbeck said.
I have put in an email to the following producer in Polk County, but they are 41 miles away from me.....that's like 500 bucks in gas......MAN !!!:

Here's my dilemma.
I went ahead a switched-out a trap-out hive because I figured if the queen wasn't in there yet, I'd have enough bees to get off the ground if I just threw a queen in there when I got them home.
So do you all think I may have jumped-the-gun on the amount of bees needed to begin a hive?
I know it's hard to tell, but something like this:

Here's the other hive I left there in its place. The bees immediately took to it.
