Observed in the bottom of my trash can, after the garbage collector emptied the can, what appeared to be SHB larvae! From all appearances they looked exactly like SHB larvae............ I'm sure (no I'm not, I'm guessing) they could be larvae from some other insect, but they sure look SHB larvae.
If so, they're...............everywhere!
In a trash can, could they just be fly maggots?
I don't know .....I've seen SHB larvae before and these looked EXACTLY like them...........
Boiling water should do the trick, whatever they are.
sprinkle lime power like you would use in your garden in the can.
Fly maggots, I had them in my trash can 40 years ago, years before SHB's.
