Re: Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip
7/31/12 Update on your adopted BeeBee Trees. The first one has a leaf over 18" off of soil level, this is great growth of over a foot in a month. They are old enough now that you could choose an individual one and name it. You could send him/her a note or card that I could read to them, and display it for the other baby trees. They are all frolicking in the nice warm summer weather we are having, and growing well due to the nice fog cooled nights. Send an an email to odfrank@earthlink.net if you would like to reserve an adoption in January. I again have hundreds of seedlings needing a nice home and parents next winter. BEE SWEET, Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip.

Keep me informed on the orphan's progress so that I can "Adopt a Bunch of the Bee Bee Tree Whip" orphans. They seem to be well fed and growing tall, but I l know they are hoping for a good home soon.:D

Glad to see that the orphans are doing well. Seem to be eating and growing great. Can't wait to fill out the "adoption papers" soon to adopt some of the orphans and give them a good home. Will be waiting to hear from you.

Re: Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip
Hi Mr. Frank,
Wow, they are not going to be small for long. Well, your updates kind of reminds me of that play, "Little Shop of Horrors." Its not that I am getting cold feet....about the trees. They are growing fast-very fast. Linn
Re: Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip
Would like to adopt a dozen or so small ones, in the spring when you're ready for club raffle prizes.
Will gladly donate for their care, & nurturing.
Re: Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip
Oliver I sent you a email about buying some trees. Thanks Steve

Re: Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip
What type of fertilizer do you use? I normally spread 10-10-10 around on my property in the spring.
Re: Adopt a BeeBee Tree Whip
The whips for sale are finally going dormant, just need some more cold and rain to drop those leaves. They are usually ready for shipment after the
Xmas rush. In the upper left under the power lines you can see the mother tree that has already lost her leaves. Male kiwi vine to the left.

Thanks for the helpful promotion of my product and educating buyers on how to properly grow plants. You have pointed out these mistakes you made:
#1 Don't grow it in a pot on top of a four story apartment in the coldest, foggiest and windiest neighbor hood in San Francisco.
#2 Don't grow it in pot at all, ever if possible. BeeBee trees need room to send out their roots and just stay stunted in containers.
#3 BeeBee trees are deciduous and lose their leaves in winter. Yours looks just like any other deciduous tree going into winter, and actually has a good size and caliper for living under the conditions you have it in.

I'll have you know Ollie that I'm quite an accomplished gardener. Just check out my excellent roof fauna!
Note your BeeBee tree way in the back. (Actually it's doing well considering 25 mph winds and constant fog).

Just wondering how much longer it will be before we get our adoption papers? I guess having to go through all the legal "red tape" takes a while. LOL
