New Swarm - 8 days since capture - Queen not laying - What next?
So I got a pretty large swarm. I put it in a 10 frame medium with a couple of old drawn comb. From the outside everything looks good. They bees are foraging and bringing in nectar and pollen.
I opened the box up today. I see lots of new comb, but no eggs or larve or capped comb. Lots of pollen and nectar.
I also found the Queen. However she is obviously not laying.
Any advice on what to do next?

My best hive swarmed on the 9th. I didn't find brood or the queen till yesterday, the 21st. Maybe it takes them a while to nest a bit before she will start laying?

Give her another week or two.
She may have been a virgin when she flew with the swarm.
That means you may have to wait up to 3 weeks before you see larva in cells.
