Can't remember
Three old ladies were discussing the trials and tribulations of getting older. One said, "Sometimes I catch myself with a jar of mayonnaise in my hand while standing in front of the refrigerator, and I can't remember whether I need to put it away or start making a sandwich." The second lady chimed in with, "Yes, sometimes I find myself on the landing of the stairs and can't remember whether I was on my way up or on my way down." The third one responded, "Well, ladies, I'm glad I don't have that problem, knock on wood," as she rapped her knuckles on the table and then said, "That must be the door, I'll get it!"

Re: Can't remember
Just REMEMBERED another one:
An older couple was sitting at home one evening and the husband said to the wife "sure would like some ice cream" I'll get it" she replied. "Put some chocolate on it too". "no problem" she says. "And some sprinkles while your at it" he said. "Got it" she said, "Ice cream with chocolate and sprinkles coming up". A while later she came out of the kitchen with a plate of bacon and eggs. "Are you losing your mind" he said, staring at the plate. "Where's the toast???"

Re: Can't remember
You know you're getting older when a lot of the conflict between you and your spouse is over not remembering something! I guess we have to adjust to a new normal! Did I ever tell you about my dog?
