It is repeatedly giving the message, "Error connecting to server. Please try again in a few minutes." Since the room has remained empty while I've been online, it may be a problem for everyone, and not just being finicky for me.

The software was being updated last night. New and improved.
Thanks, Barry. I just visited and found the dropdown box next to the user names. Are there additional improvements that we'd enjoy hearing about, or should we just discover them as surprises?
The email I received from AddOnChat said the following features are now included:
integrated Real Time Log module, enabling you and the users you select to view live transcript content from within the AddonChat desktop client.
fully customizable User Profile System.
User Registration, lost password retrieval and user verification dialogs have been integrated into both the desktop and mobile clients. This makes it a breeze for users to sign-up and start chatting!
Moderators may now edit content submitted to them directly from the moderator dialog using the new Editable Moderator Dialog.
a New User List that is not only intuitive and eye pleasing, but powerful and easy to manage.
I haven't had time to look into these new features yet. The room Boss has been sidetracked lately as well.
