I wanted to do the same thing so I wrote Barry and asked how/where. He said he was the only one who could change your location.
So I gave him my changed location and he did it.

If thats the case there is no reason for that other than they havnt included that field in the options for users to modify. Any other VBulletin board you go to clearly indicates a location field in the settings.

I believe it gets set when you first register and the only reason to change it is if you move. But, Barry would have to explain the reasoning. It may be one of the only true and accurate things about a user.

Very true Mark. It's a very important part of keeping spammers out as well. It also keeps everyone from posting, "where are you from?"

People are always going to wonder that about some people anyway though, right? :)
