Another Floridian

Hi, I'm in SW Fla and have 7 hives. I started about a year ago with one hive, closely followed by 2 more and then a 4th by the end of July. This spring I aquired 3 feral hives and want to get another 2 or 3 soon, a rescue mission on those colonies. My goal is 10 healthy hives. I love everything about beekeeping and have learned so much in just one year. There was a real good day long seminar up in Tampa a few weeks ago.

Welcome Beverly! The Tampa Bay Beekeepers host the Bee Seminar every Spring. There are monthly Bee Workshops at USF. Saturday April 30th is installing package bees and making splits. May is diseases, pests and parasites.
