Look once the day in a mirror, if you’re face is totally white than you’re almost bloodless.
I subliminate oxalic 3 times in late summer and 3 times in spring. I dont wait for broodless or bloodless as you called it. I like to have it done early enough to get young bees going into winter
after the autopsy,,,,,,haha
Keep in mind that oxalic acid is not approved as a mite treatment in the US.
If you check Randy Olivers website, www.scientificbeekeeping.com He uses the dribble method in Aug. if they have high mite loads. Its only recommended to do it once a year. The website has all the instructions.
True its not approved in USA, but is in most other countries. Don't think powdered sugar is approved either.
