Here we go again:
I have hives and divides that are on their 2nd round of two patties per feeding and a 1st or 2nd filling of Mother Lode style inside feeders.
The bees can empty one of those inside feeders overnight!
The Carniolans shut down brooding and the Italians are going 2 frames of brood to their one!
A Russian breeder queen and her colony also just about stoped brooding.
Very few drones and some robbing going on.
We do not get a late summer honey flow in this part of Calif.
The recent fires in the area have devastaded the buckwheat.
No, it is not the kind of Buckwheat that is used in baking.

Look ahead. NOAH thinks a big ElNino is coming next year. There is always a next year. It is real dry out here on the desert this year also.

I put on a 2nd round of pollen patties, 1 or 2/hive depending on the frame count.
The other two were totally gone! That's good.
Good positive thinking on the NOAA report of an El Nin~0
