im going to be making splits with four frames of brood one frame of honey and new queen if i was to feed two gallons of sugar syrup also would this help me get more surplus honey all frames are drawn comb

Feed the sugar surip during nectar dirths to keep the queen laying.

The bees use a lot of honey/nectar/syrup when raising brood. It will help to feed, but with drawn foundation I'd watch to make sure that feeding doesn't clog the brood nest so the queen has no where to lay. If they were drawing foundation I'd feed really heavy because they will use it all for wax and brood rearing. But with drawn foundation they will be using some for brood but storing most of it in already drawn comb. Just keep watch and make sure the brood nest isn't honey bound.
