I was not beekeeping for a few years, and I am planning on starting again, my problem is, I need to know where to get package bees, I got them from a local beekeeper last time, and he's not available any more.
I would prefer to get them from somewhere as close as possible, I live in Southern Oregon, does anyone have any suggestions?
Check around for a local beekeeping club. Maybe do a search on the Internet for State Beekeeping Assn. You might find someone that way. Surly there is someone in your area that keeps bees. Watch for hives around the country. Check with the County Agent. Sometimes the local Police have names to call when they find a swarm. Check with the Sheriff. Dale
