Going to try ross rounds for comb honey this year. But first would like to know how many of you reduce to one brood box before putting the super on? Or any other tips that you all have will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I cut the colonies down from triples to singles to crowd similar to the Killion's method. Occasionally I shook swarm. These methods produce some very excellent sections. I set the other brood boxes off behind the parent then reunite in the fall with the young queen heading up the colony. I'd add two section boxes on not just one. Be diligent in swarm control and don't let the girls bind up the broodnest. Also the timing of the cut down is important too.
