So I'm driving down the road, and a yard sale catches my eye. He had 10 medium,s, 6 deeps, and 4 shallows, most with frames, some with drawn comb, a smoker, two boxes of foundation,...............AND a 6 frame dadent crank extractor, which appears to be brand new.............all for 150. Yes, I slid to a stop, and promptly wrote him a check.......
Because I am not able to see AFB spores just by looking at comb and then there are a myriad of chemicals that the preceding beek may or may not have introduced into the hive and if he did did he use them according to the label?? I have used used boxes before no problem..I have never used old drawn frames unless they where mine...too much risk for the savings. IMO:no:
The extractor at $150 is gravy. Anything beyond that is cherries and whipped cream... Not on the gravy though
