Hello everyone. Hope you and your bees are staying warm. Does anyone know how to make honey straws? I've seen them before and thought I'd like to make up a batch to hand out like party favors at a church function. Will any type of straw work? How do you fill them and then seal them so they won't leak? Any ideas or advice is greatly appreciated.
the equipment to fill and seal honey straws is expensive. IMO If you are only needing a few I would simply buy them from glory bee or one of the other supply places that sell them.
And if you would want it a little more personal. Search the forums for them. I remember a post not to long ago about someone mentioning a company out west I believe it was that will use your honey to make the straws. You'll need to find the post for the particulars though, or someone see this and help you out with it.
