Hi, my name is Bob, I have a stupid question, but I need to ask someone.
I installed a package of bees on Monday, half the bees died of starvation in transit, thanks to our great postal system. I feed them sugar water and raw honey and they have perked up and flying.
The 3000 or so bees that remain are not building any comb to allow the queen to lay eggs. The ball of bees are inside the hive, just above the hive entrance surrounding
the queen . Is this normal , or do I need the push the clump of bees away from the wall to get them to build off the top bars. Thanks, bob

'Whenever anyone says "I can't," it makes me wish he'd get stung to death by about ten thousand bees. When he says "I'll try," five thousand bees. ("I can," one bee.)' - Jack Handey
