Mr. Hogan , could I talk you out of your pdf file on your trapout method?
I'm attempting to assist someone to remove a hive from a tree next to her driveway. She wants to save the bees. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your service to our country. Bc76645@yahoo.com

Question for you sir. I have a colony in a fallen tree branch. It was moved with a front end loader. About 5 feet long, 12 to 15 inches in diameter. Should I leave it where it is at to try and get them out, or move the whole thing to my property? It's heavy bit could be done. Never done a cutout before. Thanks for any advice, I'm at work now so can't search all the posts yet. -Leon

Sir - I believe you recently mentioned to someone that you have a pdf file of your trapout method. I think I may have gotten part of that in the past but only have 2 pages of it. If available, could you resend it to poorhollowbeefarm@gmail.com, please? Thanks. BTW, from what military branch did you retire?

Mr. Hogan, while using your trapout method, have you experienced swarm cell building on the brood frame in your nuc?

Cleo, I've had your design in place about 4 weeks. About 2 weeks ago I put in a frame of uncapped brood. Checked box today,6 full frames of bees. Pulled off 4 frames and started another hive.Did not see queen.Replaced with drawn frames.Do I need to keep putting frames of uncapped brood back in to get the queen to come out?The goal is to remove bees from tree and seal it up. Thanks for your input and your design.

Cleo, can you tell me more about the picture of the bee trap on the tree. It looks rather flat for a trap-out box.
