    Hey D-Coates:
Noticed on a thread you run a 20 frame Dadant. I have a used one I bought as well, in great shape with stand and all. Mine has a jones motor on it (blue). You mentioned that yours was a 79, how did you determine the age? Is there some marking on them somewhere?
    Regards

Hello D-coates, Zane forwarded an E-mail to me about A Sue Meyer 28 miles north of St.Joe. I will be home from the almonds this Friday and I am only a few miles north of her I could run by and see them on Friday. I would be interested in the removal . If she likes she could E-mail me at beesandberrys@hotmail.com or call at (660)726-2615 Thank you John Hargrave

    Mr. Coates,

Good morning. I have been wanted to commend you on your 5 frame nuc design. I am just starting out in beekeeping and have been trying to figure out what I consider to be "best practice" equipment. I made four of your nucs and they turned out great! I even went a step further and made Michael Bush's feeder tray to fit the nuc. Very slick.

Looking at your profile and reading your posts, you and I are very close in age, and it appears that you have a jump start on me in queen rearing.

My 11 year old son and I were unable to get any bees this year so I decided this would be our learning and prep year, and next year we'll get our packages. Then it is onto queen rearing.

    Take Care.
