Many years ago, I had 13 hives for my kiwifruit orchard. They were needed for the pollination but I left the management of the hives to a local bee keeper who managed many other local orchardist's hives. Now I have one of my own in the back yard in town here, I find it a rally steep learning curve so folks like you who answer my questions are a great asset for me.
