    Hi Merlyn,
We actually live way out in the country in the Beautiful Fingerlakes Region of upstate NY on a dirt road off a dirt road where I can't see my neighbors. Drive 500 miles round trip to the big apple to sell honey 35 weekends a year with my son and the hired man.

The beeks I know in NY are always stuggling with honey flows. They do have a good deal of Linden trees and along both the Hudson and East River there are plenty of forage. Lot's of parks but mostly mowed and sprayed. Our Town, Erin, is under 4000 as well. Lived in Denver awhile in the late 70's - love to visit the big city for a day but never be able live there again.

    Have a great week

A very interesting article about bees in NY. What flowers do you have that the bees have acesss to in a big city?. Never been to NY. Any city with more thanQuapaw is to big for me.We might have 3500 if the cats and dogs are counted

    Hi Monk,
Sorry to take so long getting back to you. I should be down in late November or Early December. I'll give you a shout a couple of weeks in advance. Thanks for the invite, I'm always up to get together with brother beeks!
    Have a great week,

    Joel,
I noted that you list Florence, S.C. as your winter location. I've been a beekeeper here in Florence for the last twenty years and have never met you. Are you involded in the local asso. or the State asso.? If not, I would like to invite you to one of our meetings when your in town.
