I checked hive Sunday and found 9 frames filled(even drone frame) added a super and I have my fingers crossed as to getting honey. I have found that these girls do make comb wherever possible-have some cross comb on foundations. They are very gentle and let me work them without any problem.

Opened up Hive to check on the girls-was concerned about all the rain we have had and the frames with small cell foundation, well 2 frames now have comb built on them. I am empressed with the work that they are doing, however they do tend to build comb on top if the frame (with honey). Everything is going well.

You are about 4 hours away . I was down there last fall and picked up a extractor. I wish your closer. I am a mason we could have traded of work, my dad was a carpenter and as a kid I was to "smart" to learn how to be a carpenter. Have a great Christmas. We have about 3 feet on the ground so we will have a white Christmas.
    All the best Tony
