I have a quick question. I can see when the bees are bringing in pollen, but how can you tell if they are bringing in nectar?

This is Frank Wilson. I got the nuc from you last month and there doing fine. I did finally get signed up for this sight, and ran across one of your postings. Thought I would drop you a line.

Hi there, I see you are using 8 f langs. this will be my first hives and I am putting my equipment order together now. Hubby isn't sure he wants to be very involved ( he is allergic to wasps and unsure as to whether he will be allergic to honeybees as well) so I am trying to keep the weight down. At a local bee association meeting, someone made a comment that with 8f you get a little unstable as you stack the boxes up due to the smaller size and lighter weight. Oh course they were NOT using 8f boxes...... Have you had an issue? How many boxes do you usually have stacked? Thanks t
