I am a complete rookie, and have never even been around a hive before. I hope to have 7 hives up and running in the spring, with 4 ready for bees now. The goal is to get them ALL from cutouts, but if that doesn't pan out, I'm on the nuc list for Janet Clayton in Barbour County.
Hello everyone! My dad introduced me to beekeeping when I was in my young teens. I'm now dodging 50. I relocated back to WV this past June and am getting back into it after a number of years' sabbatical. I will be starting out with five new hives, utilizing narrow, 1-1/4", foundationless frames, in 8-frame, top-opening boxes, without treatments.
