I had checked on a hive today that I had started back in the spring. I took 3 deep frames of bees and ordered a new queen. She had started laying and doing very well. It has been about 1 month since I checked on them, well when I opened the hive up today to my surprise there was only 3 frames of brood and no honey. I found 4 wax moths and killed around 6 larvae, what should I do to ensure that they don't starve, and how do you get rid of any threat from the moth so they can start producing enough honey for winter?
