hello people! i live in gig harbor in a secluded area in gig harbor and i bought all of my gear at tree-n-bees in auburn. my bees were hived on april 17th and this far i have only fed syrup without pollen. since hiving them the weather has been mostly lower than 60 degrees and outside hive activity has been fairly limited. my question is should i be supplementing pollen right now for the brood or is it available in the wild currently?
did you buy a package? or a nuc? I would not worry about pollen right now they need to build up comb for the queen to lay in. 1:1 sugar is what they need. best of luck.
