A installation i did lastweek. I choose this style of installation because of the upcoming weather, i had to get the packages installed and feed, while keeping the bees together because of the freezing nights that were supposed to come. Next packages i would do will be in either the mist and shake method or if time permits a turn upside down and let the bees gradually come out. Problem i had with this method were the bees started making comb on and in the boxes, "inefficient use of resources". Anyway here is my video enjoy!

Would it not have been better to put the Queen cage in the box rather than back in the package box. They will want to stay with the Queen I think. You may want to shake some into the box.

my worry was the bees wouldnt move to the queen fast enough to warm her for the night. That is why i didnt place the cage between the frames out of the box.
