wow! i'm speachless! i was surprised that you had no veil on...but you had a queen catcher! next time...if there is one...you should give the branch a good hit with your fist (not the cardboard box ;-). i can't believe you didn't get stung! i bet that you were glad it wasn't a 3lb swarm!! thanks for the entertainment!

mcdermottn: The branch was too big to shake or hit, plus swarm was all around it so I thought I'd try it with the "box-smack" method. Live and learn :)

I was fully expecting to get stung but didn't! Maybe I should have gone out and bought a Powerball ticket after that catch. I knew the cardboard nucs were wax coated but didn't think they were so slick!
