Hi my first time on the forum and I would like to know why WTK metal queen excluder are so expensive.Dadant sell one for $6.05 but WTK sell it for $16.00

I did a comparison of all the suppliers for my own business. They vary widely even though most are from the same source. Dadant has a greater volume like Walmart so they get a price break.

WTK Queen Excluders are made at the WTK plant in KY. They are metal bound and are not purchased from overseas. We need to figure our costs of material & labor in our prices. We do not purchase we manufacture in the USA.

Bsupplier that is certainly noble and I wish you the best but the real issue is why should someone pay the extra $10, is it better? I don't say this in any mean sort of way at all as obviously your business is quite competitive, its just that if you can't compete with a certain item perhaps you need to focus on areas that you can and outsource those where you cant to give your customers the best value before they choose to buy elsewhere.
