So here is a few pictures of the area that I have placed my swarm trap.

I have placed the nuc box at about 6-7 feet off the ground of an old apple tree which has a creek below it and an open field in front of it. It can't be seen but the tree is in bloom and bumble, and honey bees are all in the blooms.

my thoughts are this, and I profess to know nothing so I may be way of base on this. It may just be a little early yet for them to be swarming.

i use old wood - old hive bodies if i have some that are going out the door -

they like old wood over new wood - also i staple moss to mine and twigs -

did you add bait??

also how far from hives are they???

Welcome to the club, i have the same swarm boxes set out and using swarm lure. Today i decided to go buy some pure lemongrass oil to hopefully help out, gonna staple the soaked Q-tip on the underside of the roof top. My next guess is to put out more boxes cause thats what im gonna be doing this week! That will give you a better odds of catching a swarm....Good Luck!
