Have you tried IE 8? My puter keeps asking me if I want to update to it. I haven't yet though.

I switched over to Firefox a while back and have gotten to like it. You can import your bookmarks from IE when you install it. What is nice about Firefox is the add-ins that are available for free. I have Adblock Plus, Adobe DLM, Move Media Player 7, Read it Later, and StumbleUpon. I had one really nifty bookmark add-on on the laptop that I dropped. Unfortunately I can't find it now.

My son tried Chrome and says it is ok, but still used Firefox. His recommendation is to wait a year for Chrome to add features and work out the bugs.

On the down side of Firefox, I have been to a few web pages where certain characters do not display properly. In the past Netflix and ABC.com did not support Firefox. Abc now supports Firefox but I don't know about Netflix.

firefox only way to go. IE is just asking for trouble...constantly trying to redirect you...its a pain.

Chrome works pretty good. Takes a little getting used to. Very fast. Pretty compliant. Firefox is wonderful. We use it exclusively at work now. We (and I) walk from IE. Too many issues..too much overhead....still has security issues......to much MS influence. Hard to trust MS anymore.

On my Mac I use Safari and sometimes Firefox or Camino. All are very OK!

I only use Foxfire, I was a IE user for years but to many problems and slow networking, I switched to foxfire a couple years ago and have loved it, never will go back to IE.
