I'm in NYC for Thanksgiving. Buildings next to buildings. With brick buildings a matter of inches from each other...
How do they brick the walls facing each other. There's obviously not enough room to lay brick from the outside? Is the adjoining wall of the second building not faced with brick?

Most brick or block wall are built from the inside.

LOL that is a really good question, MP!
Block buildings could be built from the inside but many brick buildings just have brick facing on the outside of stud construction. They could have built them at the same time, I suppose.....from inside the opposing building.:D
You better have really good neighbors to live that close to them.

Yep Mark. Thanks for asking. I guess they've got their city legs on. Sayer...my daughter...got a good job at the Julliard School of Music.
Trips to the city remind me why I live in Vermont.

Good for her. That's an accomplishment, for sure.
Yeah, the City is one of those places that might be nice to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Takes a different kinda cat.
