2nd year keeper. Have two hives. Need to move them about a 1/2 mile from present site. Is there a recommended time of year to move hives? I'm thinking right now during late Fall is not a good time(?)
Thanks for any insights,
JD

I would if the temps are cool enough to keep them from flying for 3 or 4 days.

There was another post about moving hives recently. Just can't remember what the title was...

After the cold has confined them for 72 hours is pretty good timing. They will reorient.
