Cypress woodenware is advertised to be naturally rot resistant and will last for many, many years even without paint. I have purchased some and have been pleased with the quality, but haven't had it long enough to evaluate the long-term durability.
Please share any experiences you've had with cypress equipment. Your input will certainly be appreciated. I have a lot of pine woodenware that has just not held up over time.
