email problem... please help

I am having issues with email. I can recieve emails. I can send emails but they do not get to the people I send them to (which is everyone right now). There is no error message and it shows sent in the sent box.

I called comcast and spent 10 hours with them making sure all settings are ok. And they are from their point of view.

I am using microsoft outlook office 2007.

Not trying to be a smart aleck but you got through to here just fine! I use GMail or Yahoo!Mail for everything that goes to public forums, people I don't know personally, etc.

Several months ago I had the reverse of your problem---I could send but I could not receive. The simple answer was that my ISP included an eMail account that I had never used and was not even aware of. As far as I was concerned I had saved very few eMails (on the account that I actually used!) and should have had almost no clutter. As far as my ISP was concerned I had 750 pages of saved incoming messages and had exceeded my quota. I dumped all of the messages stored on the unused account and was immediately able to receive eMail again. Maybe you have something similar going on.

Don't even ask me how that works---Computers, I just use 'em , I don't understand 'em!
